Using HandFrame
HandFrame is a pay-before-delivery file delivery tool for freelance creators. You may use HandFrame to upload supported video or image files, generate protected previews, create paywall links, collect client payment through Stripe, and deliver clean files after payment.
You are responsible for the accuracy of project details, pricing, client communications, and any files you upload.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
If you accept payments through HandFrame, you must complete the required Stripe Connect onboarding and comply with Stripe's terms, identity checks, and compliance requirements.
Uploads and rights
You may only upload files that you own or have the legal right to deliver. You grant HandFrame the limited rights needed to store, process, watermark, preview, stream, and deliver those files through the service.
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, malware-containing, or otherwise harmful content. We may remove content or restrict access if we believe it violates these terms or creates legal, security, or operational risk.
Payments, fees, and refunds
Clients pay the file price set by the freelancer. Stripe processing fees and HandFrame's plan-based service fee are deducted from the freelancer payout according to the active plan.
Freelancers are responsible for their client relationships, refunds, taxes, and any payment disputes unless HandFrame is legally required to take action. Stripe may separately apply its own fees, rules, holds, reviews, or account restrictions.
Client downloads
A client may receive access to the clean file after successful payment. Download links, grants, and availability windows may expire or be limited based on the freelancer's plan, payment status, security controls, or product rules.
HandFrame is not responsible for disputes between freelancers and clients about project scope, revisions, satisfaction, or delivery obligations outside the file delivery flow.
Service availability
HandFrame is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the product reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free processing, or permanent storage availability.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product changes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, HandFrame is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost files, or lost business opportunities.
Our total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid HandFrame for the service in the three months before the claim.
